Deryl Pendleton Announces Candidacy for Mobile City Council

Local Pastor, Business Owner and Founder of MABCC (Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce) formally announces his candidacy for Mobile City Council, District 6.

Deryl humbly looks forward to representing everyone in the District fairly. He promises to run a positive campaign, one in which he will display integrity and honesty in all his interactions and treat everyone he encounters with respect.

This is Deryl Pendleton’s second run for District 6 Councilman. Deryl believes it will be a great privilege to represent the District on City Council which is why he is so persistent. He plans to serve with bold leadership and a comprehensive strategy that includes partnerships with other districts, one that thrives on giving the community a strong, consistent voice.

Deryl was raised in Prichard, AL and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and minor in Business from the University of Mobile in 1982.

His leadership experience and passion for people is evident in his endeavors. Throughout his career, he has proven his commitment to the financial, physical, and mental health of citizens in Mobile.
